Universal Pack UK is the UK branch of Universal Pack SRL, a global industry leader headquartered in the province of Rimini, Italy. Today, we are proud to operate worldwide.
As the first official sachet and stick-pack manufacturer in the UK, our team brings over 30 years of experience in sales, spare parts, services, and installations. To date, we have installed more than 350 Universal Pack machines in this region alone.
Who We Are
Our approach is built on passing down real-world experience and scientific knowledge through generations. Every team member – from sales to engineering – benefits from decades of expertise accumulated at Universal Pack, enabling us to provide the most effective solutions for each project.
This philosophy, combined with advanced systems – including an in-house laboratory and full in-house machinery and software design and manufacturing capabilities – ensures the highest standards of quality control and reliability. With the exception of sourcing electrical components, we are fully self-sufficient. We also maintain a robust stock of consumables and critical spare parts, while our direct link to the Italian headquarters allows us to source custom components as quickly as if we were there in person.

Universal Pack UK was born!
Universal Pack allocated a team of four engineers to the UK (all from Clan Packaging). Two of them, Stephen and Dave, are still with us today!
The passing of the torch
Pietro Donati assumes the CEO role from his father and founder, Gino Donati, symbolising the next generation and the start of Universal Pack’s technological jump to the top.
Sachet Solutions
UK & Ireland Sales – Gareth Tempest retakes his role, handling sales for UP as the sole sales agent for the UK and Ireland.
To Italy!
Piers and Ellie move to Italy to embark on their Universal Pack journey. They start on the factory floor and gain a valuable understanding of all the departments that make UP tick.

Our darkest time. With the heaviest of hearts we have to say goodbye to our beloved Gareth, far too soon, and continue the journey with Piers and Ells.

Takeover
Piers, Ellie & Jack (the future) combine with Stephen Birnie (present) and Dave Portlock (immortal) to embark on the new and ever-improving Universal Pack UK.

Our engineers are trained exclusively on Universal Pack technology, giving them unmatched product knowledge and allowing them to provide rapid, expert-level support.
