Universal Pack’s machines are specifically designed for single-dose formats such as stick packs and sachets. They can dose from 0.1 g up to 100 g of seasonings and spices per pack, with fully customisable dimensions based on product properties, production requirements and marketing objectives.
For cartoning, our systems allow from 1 up to 100 or more sachets or stick packs per carton. With patented counting units, we guarantee precise picking, grouping and placing, combining efficiency with reduced product and material waste in line with economic and environmental sustainability goals.
Technologies & Features
Universal Pack equips its seasonings and spices packaging machines with auger or basculating dosing systems, depending on product composition:
- Auger dosers provide high accuracy for non free-flowing powders.
- Basculating systems are ideal for free-flowing granules and seeds.
Customers can also add custom accessories, such as:
- Double hopper, allowing the simultaneous dosage of two different products in the same sachet or in twin sachets.
- Rotating tubes, specifically designed for products such as thyme, rosemary and herbs.
Every product and laminate is tested in Universal Pack’s internal laboratory. After extensive trials and a thorough design review, each customised machine is manufactured to deliver maximum accuracy, flexibility and performance.
Our seasoning packaging machines are compatible with all typical heat-sealable composite films, including PAP-PE, PAP-ALU-PE, PET-ALU-PE and cold-sealable materials. We also support sustainable laminates such as PP, PLA, PAP, Bio-PE, and others on request.
