Nutraceutical Powders & Granules Packaging Machines
Universal Pack designs and manufactures stick pack and sachet packaging machines, as well as cartoning lines, dedicated to the nutraceutical powders and granules sector. With more than 50 years of expertise, we provide solutions that combine flexibility, reliability and efficiency, offering a wide range of stick pack and sachet shapes to meet diverse market needs.
Products & Formats
Our machines are suitable for products such as:
- Baking soda / Sodium bicarbonate
- Citric acid
- Digestive salts
- Food/vitamin supplement (powder)
- Oral rehydration salts
- Probiotics
Universal Pack’s machines are dedicated to single-dose formats such as stick packs and sachets. They can dose from 0.1 g up to 100 g per pack, with fully customisable dimensions based on product characteristics, production requirements and marketing goals.
For secondary packaging, our cartoning systems can handle from 1 up to 100 or more sachets or stick packs per carton, thanks to patented counting units that guarantee precision in grouping, picking and placing. This ensures efficiency and reduced material waste, supporting both economic and environmental sustainability.
Technologies & Features
Universal Pack integrates specialised dosing systems for nutraceutical powders and granules:
- Auger dosers for non free-flowing powders, delivering maximum dosing accuracy.
- Basculating systems for free-flowing powders and granules, allowing high-speed packaging and increased output capacity.
- Bag-in-bag sealing block, enabling multiple sachets to be packed inside one sachet for product differentiation.
To meet strict nutraceutical and pharmaceutical requirements, our machines can be equipped with security systems that govern access levels (operator, factory, administration) and record production data, ensuring compliance with CFR 21 part 11 regulations. Drawing on long-term collaborations with major pharmaceutical corporations, Universal Pack guarantees traceability, regulatory compliance and quality control across all production lines.
All products and laminates are analysed in Universal Pack’s internal laboratory. After rigorous testing and a detailed design review, each machine is manufactured to provide accuracy, durability and performance.
Our systems can process all typical heat-sealable composite films, including PAP-PE, PAP-ALU-PE, PET-ALU-PE and cold-sealable materials, as well as sustainable laminates such as PP, PLA, PAP, Bio-PE, and others on request.
