Our machines are suitable for pet food in powder form and liquid pet food, ensuring precise and efficient packaging across different product types.
Products & Formats
Universal Pack’s systems are dedicated to single-dose packaging formats, such as stick packs and sachets. They can dose from 0.1 g up to 100 g of powdered pet food and from 0.1 ml up to 100 ml of liquid products per pack. Dimensions can be adapted to meet specific marketing goals, production requirements and product nature.
For secondary packaging, our cartoning lines can handle from 1 up to 100 or more sachets or stick packs per carton. With our patented counting units, we ensure accurate picking, grouping and placing of packages, combining high productivity with material and product savings, supporting both economic and environmental sustainability.
Technologies & Features
Universal Pack integrates a variety of advanced dosing systems for pet food:
- Auger and basculating dosers for both free-flowing and non free-flowing powders.
- Gravimetric and flowmeter systems for liquid pet food.
- Piston pump dosers, suitable for low- and high-viscosity products as well as pet food with particles.
To guarantee reliability, each product and laminate is tested in Universal Pack’s internal laboratory. After thorough trials and a detailed design review, every machine is manufactured to deliver maximum accuracy, efficiency and durability.
Our packaging machines can process all typical heat-sealable composite films, including PAP-PE, PAP-ALU-PE, PET-ALU-PE and cold-sealable materials. We also support sustainable laminates such as PP, PLA, PAP, Bio-PE, and more on request, helping pet food manufacturers achieve their sustainability targets.
